ME At a young age, I developed a strong interest in foreign cultures, far away lands and ancient objects. These interests led me to UC Berkeley where I earned a degree in Archaeology. I passed the next 5 years roaming the world, working on excavations around the globe. In all locations that I ventured, what really captured my interest was the unique and diverse flora of each location. Upon returning home, I entered school again, this time for Horticulture. While in attendance I gained experience in the field working for other high profile designers in the area. To strengthen my plant knowledge I spent two years working in the nursery business and began a maintenance route. Each phase along the way has served in making me a stronger designer. I know what works and have had years of hands-on experience to test my ideas. I am an active member of the design community and a founding member of the Orange County Landscape Design Network(OCLDN), now totaling 55 in number. |
